The Ricky Ojeda Law Office
Native San Antonian, Ricky Ojeda, required a complete brand overhaul. As Mr. Ojeda’s practice gained more specialized attorneys and he relocated his office to downtown San Antonio from the northside, the mission of this brand overhaul was to illustrate his practice’s willingness and ability to service larger corporations who would become his neighbors without losing the smaller businesses and individuals he was previously experienced with. The brand overhaul was generated by focusing on two important values: individualized and humble attention toward each client’s unique needs and full mastery of technology within the field without losing the personable touch his practice has always exceeded in providing.
BRAND SYSTEM
The logo is prominently styled after Doric Grecian columns while more subtley featuring the initials, “R.O.” The emblem features a consistent line quality to evoke balance and order. To convey a sophisticated identity it was important to generate an emblem alongside the traditional logotype.
The brand features a color palette that was kept monochromatic featuring a deep Aegean Blue with accents of silver. Typographically the brand features two prominent typefaces… Tinos (used in the logotype, brand tagline, and display copy) with line qualities that match the trademark as well as modern serifs meant to harken to the Cyrillic alphabet. Secondarily, Gill Sans is used for the body copy, specs, and details to blend seamlessly with the display typeface and read comfortably as a Humanist typeface. Standalone headings are stacked to feature a more dramatic text-as-image concept. The grid-style offers plenty of negative space.
